I know it's been practically a century since I last posted, but I couldn't let these pictures go unposted! So here they are: some last pictures from my last couple days of my most wonderful study abroad.
First is our big group picture of all of us spilling out of the BYU London Centre |
The Royal Crescent in Bath. Well, half of it. But, trust me, the other half looks exactly the same as this half. |
Olive and I walking the Royal Crescent and wearing snazzy sunglasses |
Eating a famously large Sally Lunn Bun while sitting on a curb with some other girls in Bath. People stared. They were clearly jealous. |
The sun setting in Bath |
Taken during the 6-mile-long windiest hike of my life (even windier than the Arthur's Seat hike. Maybe) along the English coast between Boscastle and Tintagel |
The Irish Sea. And my shoes. |
Feeling the spirits of Stonehenge |
Another gorgeous picture of Stourhead Gardens. I loved the random tree island thing in the middle of the pond. |
Osbourne House. Victoria and Albert's summer home. |
Drinking tea at the Orangery at Kensington Palace after our finals. And by "tea" I mean herbal tea with 12 sugar cubes in it. |
Our whole group at the Orangery. It was such a marvelous moment, that tea party. It was like living in a fairytale. |
The tunnel of secrets by Kensington Palace. Someone collected secrets from hundreds of people and those secrets were put in those red bubbles and hung down this tunnel of vines. |
Who doesn't?! |
Riding bikes through Hyde Park on our second-to-last day. Or penultimate day. Penultimate means second to last right? |
The trees and bike path and sunshine and people and wonderfulness of Hyde Park. |
Oh, London. I love you so much. I'm seriously so thankful I was able to visit you and fall in love with you. You have provided me with so many memories and stories that I will be sharing for the rest of my existence. I cannot wait to visit again! CANNOT WAIT!
does anyone else think "cannot" is kind of a weird word?
